Our board comprises six Master’s and Bachelor’s students from the University of Twente, with diverse academic backgrounds in Business Administration, Business Information Technology, Advanced Technology, and Computer Science. Below you can find a small introduction of each team member.
With a constantly-growing background in mathematics and computer science, I have developed a passion for understanding and building complex systems, whether in code or in business strategy. I’m constantly seeking new learning opportunities and challenges to overcome and that is the main reason why I chose to become part of NPT, not merely as a student, but also as a board member. I have always found the ability to negotiate impressive, since it involves a mixture of strategy, quick-thinking, persuasive skills and ability to shape a situation in a certain direction.
I am excited to join the next generation of great negotiators and beyond thrilled to step into the role of the new Chairwoman of NPT. I cannot wait to collaborate with like-minded people, work alongside my fellow board members and help NPT grow even more. My goal for 2025/26 is to raise awareness about the importance of having negotiations skills, strengthen and build upon the current negotiation network and create a worthy legacy for the next generations to come.
After completing the negotiation cohort last year, I wanted to continue developing my skills, and the role of External Affairs offers the perfect opportunity. It allows me to apply negotiation in real-world situations while building partnerships that strengthen NPT’s impact. I completed my Bachelor’s in Advanced Technology with the plan of pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, but my experience with negotiation also inspired me to pursue Business Administration. I am currently in the premaster program in Business Administration, after which I plan to follow both a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration in parallel. This path broadens my knowledge and gives me a different perspective in everything I do.
As External Affairs, my mission is to leverage my network, create new connections, and build collaborations across the Netherlands. I aim to establish partnerships that benefit NPT long term and make 2025/26 an impactful year for the program’s growth.
What do Computer Science, Negotiation, and Marketing have in common?
Honestly, not much... But I’m excited to join the NPT board as Marketing Lead for the 2025/26 academic year. With my background in Computer Science and as an NPT graduate, I’ve experienced firsthand how negotiation sharpens the way we think, listen, and collaborate. Now I’m eager to learn directly from the board experience. Additionally, I enjoy design and creative work, and I look forward to using my passions to support NPT’s growth.
This year, my focus is on making NPT impossible to miss through clear storytelling, bold visuals, and strategic partnerships. I’m looking forward to working with the board and our community to take NPT to new heights and to help others have the same inspiring experience that hooked me last year.
I am a third-year Bachelor’s student in Technical Computer Science at the University of Twente, with a strong interest in how technology, communication, and human interaction come together. While my studies sharpen my analytical and problem-solving skills, I see negotiation as the soft skill that makes these abilities truly impactful.
As Secretary of NPT, I aim to support the board with clear communication and organization, while also developing my own negotiation skills. Beyond academics, I enjoy sports, traveling, and working on creative tech projects. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members to help NPT reach new milestones this year.
After years of strong interest in finance, I’m ready to take the leap and apply my knowledge as the new Treasurer of NPT. Armed with strong analytical skills from my study of Computer Science and the passion to help the organization, I’m excited to embark on the journey to create a financially stable future for negotiation education at the University of Twente.
My goal is to establish clear budgeting and create transparency around our finances to ensure our operation for years to come. While thrilled by the impending challenges of the new role, I’m certain that with time and patience anything could be overcome.
I’m excited to take on the role of Internal Affairs Lead for the NPT board 2025/26 while pursuing my Master’s in Business Administration. I see this position as an opportunity to complement my academic knowledge with practical experience in leadership and organizational development.
I believe strong organizations are built on clarity, trust, and collaboration. My goal is to create a strong foundation within Internal Affairs that supports the board, the new cohort, and our teachers.
I’m truly excited to work with my fellow board members to make 2025/26 a year marked by professionalism, growth, and shared success
